You may be able to submit comments, reviews, images, and audio and visual materials to our Websites and accounts on third-party social networking sites. Information posted in these venues may be visible to the public. Please be mindful of your own privacy needs and those of others as you choose what to disclose and make public. We cannot control the privacy or security of information you choose to make public.

We also collect the personal information of other people. For example, if you invite others to join the TOH Services, or purchase our products or services for other people (such as our Insider membership), we may collect the recipients’ names, email addresses, and their postal addresses. In addition, personal information about other people may be collected and used when you use certain parts of our Websites. For instance, you may capture and submit videos, images or voice content containing other individuals if you upload a live feed to our Websites. We rely on you to obtain any required permissions in advance to allow us to collect their personal information.

We are not responsible for the actions, content, or privacy practices of any third party you use to access TOH Services. Accordingly, we recommend that you review their privacy policies.

2. Information Collected Automatically Through TOH Services

• Deidentified or aggregated.
• Otherwise excluded from the scope of the CCPA.

i. Sources of Personal Information We Collect

This Old House does nothave actual knowledge that it sells Personal Information or discloses for cross-context behavioral advertising the Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age. We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for purposes other than those set forth in the CCPA.

We collect, use, or disclose your Personal Information for the purposes, including the business and commercial purposes, below:

FAST Channel Opt-Outs:

TOH Services are available with ads on Free Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST) channels such as Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus, and Vizio WatchFree+. If you are a California resident, you can exercise your right to opt out of our “sale” of your Personal Information or our “sharing” of your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising on these FAST channels, where permitted by law, as described below:

• For Pluto TV:If you have a Pluto TV account, you can submit a Do Not Sell My Personal Information requesthere。If you do not have a Pluto TV account, please consult this pagehereon how you can opt out of sale on Pluto TV. It also provides instructions on how you can opt out of targeted advertising or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising on Pluto TV.
• For Samsung TV Plus:You can submit a Do Not Sell My Personal Information request to Samsunghere。You can also enable the “Limit Ad Tracking” setting in your Samsung Smart TV to opt out of targeted advertising or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising on Samsung TV Plus.

You may authorize another person (your “authorized agent”) to submit a request on your behalf through the methods described above. Your authorized agent should submit proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request. We may still require you to directly verify your identity and directly confirm that you have provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request.

B. California’s Shine-the-Light Law.

California’s Shine the Light law permits California residents to request and receive, once per calendar year and free of charge, information about our sharing of your personal information (if any) with third parties for their own direct marketing use.
